At Melba, our highly trained disability support workers receive specialised training from our expert Human Rights Practice Innovation team to meet specific health and disability needs. This ensures they deliver personalised, high-quality care, empowering individuals with the support they deserve. The staffing group at this home are currently trained in the following, however, additional training can be provided depending on the support needs of the individual.
- Personal Care Assistance – Available for those requiring help with daily activities such as dressing, eating, bathing, etc.
- Daily Living Skills Support – Assistance with meal preparation, shopping, cleaning, etc.
- Behavioural Support – Available for individuals who require positive behaviour support plans or intervention strategies.

We currently have a one bedroom unit available, built to robust specialist disability accommodation standards
This is amongst a 15-unit complex with a mixture of SDA and social housing clients. Melba has an on-site SIL office.
This is an Robust designed home however, the SDA provider is open to considering lower funding levels (such as Improved Liveability or Fully Accessible).
Sleepover or Active night funding will be considered.
