“I am a Geelong supporter (laughs) – true fact, not fun fact”

February 17, 2026

Do you have a mild superpower?

(Laughs) I am the original prankster/joker at my place and I can leap tall buildings in a single jump.

We all start to run low on energy and motivation sometimes, how do you “refill your cup”?

Having Parkinson’s Disease is a real pain and annoying. I get the shakes often so I give myself a boost of my duodopa machine, I also like to listen to music, go fishing, and playing games with my support workers – board, card or arcade – and chatting to my good friend Lofty.

What’s a fun fact about you that people may not know?

I am a Geelong supporter (laughs) – true fact, not fun fact. I believe I am a character and a joker – whether others think I am, I don’t know.

Tell us about your family/pets/hobbies.

I don’t have any pets, but I would like to get a foxy terrier dog. I did have a cat called “Dizzy” (below, right)  – he was a Russian blue and we used to play hide and seek and chasey (his favourite games). One day he hid so well I couldn’t find him – he was behind the washing machine, which was his favourite spot to hide.

I have three brothers, who I see once or twice a year, but I have contact with one of my brothers over the phone regularly. I also have a very good friend, Kylie from Nhill.

Favourite singer/band?

Pink Floyd (above, left) and Disturbed.

If you were given a million dollars, what would you do?

Give money to the Royal Children’s Hospital and The Smith Family. I would also go on holiday to the Gold Coast or Tasmania, but ultimately I would love to go to Germany, England, Ireland, Scotland, and Wales

What year would you time travel to and why?

I would go back to being a kid, like five years old, because I would have fun with my uncle fishing and also go on the mail run with him. I loved doing this because there was this one woman who had three collie dogs and they were gorgeous.

Famous person you’d love to have dinner with?

Michelle Payne (above left).

Favourite podcast?

Jeremy Cameron (above, right) – he is funny.

Go to karaoke song?

Pink Floyd’s Comfortably Numb.

How do you have your coffee?

In my Geelong Cats cup (laughs)! I like it white and two.

Favourite item and why?

My game consoles and arcade games, because I can have time alone or I can play it with my support workers and whip some butt!

If you had to pick a song to soundtrack your life, what would it be?

The Sound Of Silence –  I love this song.

What’s your most irrational fear that you’re willing to admit?

Spiders and heights.

If you could create a new public holiday, what would we be celebrating?

Geelong Cats Day!

What Hard Quiz topic would you choose?

Sport.
