Roger is a distinguished governance expert and boardroom strategist with more than two decades of leadership experience across the corporate, public, and not-for-profit sectors. A seasoned startup founder/entrepreneur, CEO, Chair, Non-Executive Director, and board consultant, Roger brings exceptional depth in corporate governance, risk management and strategic oversight.

Roger has served on and chaired numerous private, public and not-for-profit boards. His background spans a broad range of sectors, including health, human services, education, law enforcement, transport, environmental sustainability, and advanced technologies, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning.

A Fellow of both the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD) and the Governance Institute of Australia (FGIA), Roger, plays a pivotal role in shaping contemporary boardroom practice as a facilitator and assessor for the AICD’s flagship Company Directors Course, as well as numerous others of its, and the Governance Institute of Australia’s, courses.

Currently, Roger is Chair of the Victorian Emergency Relief and Recovery Foundation, and also serves as Director and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee for the Rural Workforce Agency Victoria as well as being a member of the Audit and Risk Committee for the Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing.

Roger’s previous Chair and Committee appointments include the Victoria Police Audit and Risk Committee, the Australian Physiotherapy Council, Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust, and Annecto.
