SDA housing features accessible designs, supportive technologies and safety measures to enhance independent living. SDA comes in various forms, from group houses to individual apartments, tailored to meet specific needs. SDA eligibility is determined by an assessment of the person&#8217;s disability-related housing requirements. You will usually need both Supported Independent Living (SIL) funding alongside your Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) funding in order to receive support in an SDA home.<\/p>\n<h3>Funding for SDA<\/h3>\n<p>You may be able to access funding for SDA through avenues such as the NDIS and TAC.<\/p>\n<p>To find out more about NDIS support for SDA, go to the <a
