Melba Support Services welcomes new Chair/President

On Tuesday 5 December, Melba Support Services (Melba) welcomed Andrew Cairns as our new Chair/President.


Andrew has a broad range of executive and directorial experience across multiple industries. Andrew is currently the Group Chief Executive Officer of Haven Home Safe, where he works collaboratively with government, public and private partners to keep Victorians in safe, secure and affordable homes.


Andrew has over 17 years of chair, director and governance experience, he is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is currently a non-executive director at Melbourne Water.

As I step down as President of Melba, I'd like to express my sincerest gratitude for the opportunity to have led the board of an organisation that is incredibly impactful and important for the communities we serve.


I’d like to thank not just the executive that I work with every week, but all our people for the incredible work you do day in and day out. It is your tireless efforts to support people in our community to live fabulous lives that makes Melba what it is.


Finally, a special welcome to Andrew Cairns who will be stepping into the role of President. I know that the skills and experience you bring will see Melba go from strength to strength in the years to come.
