Patterns Found exhibition showcase artists’ works

Updated: Nov 15, 2019

The works of 15 Arthur Creative artists from Melba’s Ballarat region have been showcased as part of a creative exhibition called Patterns Found.

Between 24 August - 20 October, our artists’ creative works were exhibited at Ballarat’s Higher Society Eatery. All works explored the theme of patterns through different perspectives and close-up shots.

“What was presented was a vast range of works which explored the beauty and wonder of how we each see patterns,” said Arthur Creative Studio Coordinator, April Welfare.

“We had a wonderful celebration for the exhibition’s opening, and it was fantastic to see many there. The response to all the artists’ works has been so positive. It’s also been wonderful to get a sense of how much people have enjoyed the exhibition,” said April.

Patterns Found was an exhibition that formed part of the Ballarat International Foto Biennale, which is a highly regarded arts-based festival which features over 60 exhibitions in traditional and non-traditional art spaces. It attracts both locals and visitors to the Ballarat area.
