Individual Support Arrangements

Individual Support Arrangement's are structured to offer support in a variety of areas including pursuing a person's individual goals and aspirations, providing assistance to link people into their local community or pursuing vocational, educational or recreational options. Some people choose to develop something totally different. Each support arrangement is built around the person; therefore no two are the same.

We focus on the individual and use a person centered model of support that focuses not just on each individual's specific needs, but their gifts, strengths and capacity as well. We encourage people to be actively involved in the selection of their support staff and their performance.

To be eligible for an ISA with Melba, individuals need to be registered with the Department of Human Services and receive a disability support package ( i.e. Individual Support Package (ISP) or Futures for Young Adults (FFYA)) funding package.
